Since 1971, EDM Zap has been
specializing in classic Elox Sinker EDM Equipment. From the earlier
models such as the HRP series including the popular HRP-64, HRP-103,
and HRP-109 to the later models like the 8-62, 8-2012, and the large
18-6636. EDM Zap is familiar with the Elox power supplies like the
T, TC, TCV, Astra, Centra, and more. We carry a complete line of
parts and offer service both in house at our facility and on site.
Parts:
If you need parts for your machine, EDM Zap can help. We offer
virtually anything you need to keep your classic Elox Sinker up and
running. Items include pump parts, leadscrews, motors, gaskets,
filters, switches, valves, and even operator and maintenance
manuals. We also carry virtually all the electronic components such
as transistors, resistors, capacitors, and more.
Service:
EDM Zap services and supports virtually all the sinker Elox
equipment built from the 60's to the 90's. From the Chicago suburbs,
EDM Zap travels all over North America to service equipment in the
field. Many times we can diagnose the problem over the phone and
send you the parts you need. Often components can be sent in for
repair.
Upgrades:
Depending on your equipment, EDM Zap can upgrade components to bring
new life to your EDM. Most equipment will see immediate gains with a
Zap Ram Pulser. The Pulser is a time that improves cutting
conditions in the EDM gap providing faster cut times and better
finishes with less chance of arcing. Pump conversions are also
common to replace the standard stator/boot coolant pumps. Another
common upgrade is to replace or add digital readouts. EDM Zap can
also refurbish equipment and bring it up to date by cleaning,
replacing components, and adding upgrades to keep your machine
profitable for years. |
